NOTRE CONSEIL

Notre comité est composé de neuf investisseurs de Shared interest, certains élus et d’autres sélectionnés au hasard. Son rôle est de représenter les membres et leurs opinions devant le conseil d’administration. Son but principal est de s’assurer que Shared Interest reste fidèle à ses objectifs et que sa stratégie soit conforme aux intérêts de ses membres.

Le comité se réunit trois fois par an et reçoit des mises-à-jour de la direction générale et les procès-verbaux des réunions du conseil d’administration qu’il peut consulter et éventuellement débattre avec le secrétaire général et parfois avec le conseil d’administration.

Conformément aux règles de Shared Interest, tous les ans un membre élu doit se retirer du comité pour être remplacé par un autre membre. La dernière élection a eu lieu au mois de mars 2016.

Election of new council member

The Council of Shared Interest comprises eight members who are elected to represent the views and interests of all Members of the Society to the Board of Directors and Management.

The Council meets formally three times a year and informally at the AGM in March. It also conducts discussions on relevant issues by email and telephone between meetings.

Each year a proportion of Council retires by rotation. In 2021 Martin Canning will have completed his maximum term of six years on Council and will stand down.

Members of the Society are invited to consider standing as a candidate in the election to replace him which will be held in March 2021 by a postal ballot. If this role matches your interests and experience and you are able to commit the time, details are available for your consideration from Tim Morgan, Shared Interest Secretary. Members of Council are also happy to talk to prospective candidates.
