About the ETHICAL CONSUMER CONFERENCE 

This event took place on Tuesday, 4th November 2025 within Ethical Consumer Magazine's Ethical Consumer Week. This year, we asked: How can we move beyond corporate power? 

Events taking place throughout the week spotlighted ethical organisations pioneering alternative business models, alongside engaged individuals, campaign groups and activists pushing for a fundamental change in how we think about companies.

During the week, the conference explored the concept of moving beyond corporate power through the following themes:

• Tech monopolies and moving away from them
• How boycotts (including Ethical Consumer's boycott of amazon and BDS) help
• What if all corporations were co-operatives or social enterprises?
• Challenging land grabs by new tech and AI
