Creating a sustainable future for young cocoa farmers in Ivory Coast

Building sustainable livelihoods for women in rural Nicaragua through organic sesame farming
Location: Nicaragua, Central America
Project participants: 40 farmers
Partner: Coproexnic (sesame and peanut cooperative)
Duration: 12 months
Working in partnership with local co-operative, Coproexnic, this project is supporting 40 women in rural northern Nicaragua to become organic sesame farmers
Increasing Economic Opportunities
Increasing economic opportunities for women in Ghana through soilless farming
Location: Ghana, West Africa
Project participants: 120 basket weavers
Partner: TradeAid Integrated
Duration: 24 months
Working in partnership with not for profit organisation TradeAid Integrated, this project will support a group of Ghanaian basket weavers to establish a vegetable farm without the use of soil.
Improving Farming Methods
Eco friendly farming methods in Peru
Location: Peru, South America
Project participants: 530 coffee farmers
Partner: CECAFE (coffee cooperative)
Duration: 12 months
Working in partnership with local co-operative CECAFE, we are supporting coffee farmers in the northern jungle of Peru to increase their resilience to the coffee borer beetle, and produce their own supply of organic compost.

Creating a sustainable future for young coffee farmers in Rwanda
Location: Rwanda, East Africa
Project participants: 50 young coffee farmers
Partner: Agricultural Coffee Cooperative of Mabanza (KOPAKAMA)
Duration: 24 months
Our third Growing Fairer Futures project will support young people in western Rwanda to establish their own coffee farms
Increasing The Resilience Of Coffee Farming
Increasing the resilience of coffee farming households in rural Uganda through income diversification.
Location: Uganda, East Africa
Project participants: 365 coffee farmers
Partner: Bukonzo Organic Farmers Co-operative Union (BOCU)
Duration: 24 months
Working in partnership with Bukonzo Organic Farmers Co-operative Union (BOCU), this project will support Ugandan smallholder coffee farmers to increase their coffee yield, and diversify into passion fruit production.
Seed to Stall: Increasing self sustainability through soilless vegetable farming
Location: Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso
Duration: 12 months
This 12-month project is supporting 200 economically vulnerable women, who live in the semi-urban areas around the city of Bobo-Dioulasso. The aim being to increase their income through the production and sale of organic vegetables, using an innovative soilless farming technique.
