Founded in 2009 and located in the Rwenzori Region of western Uganda in the district of Kasese, coffee producing co-operative Bukonzo manage 13 primary co-operatives and support 4,102 farmers with an income.
Impact Study: COOPARM
Founded in 1990, COOPARM is a coffee co-operative located in Rodriguez de Mendoza of Peru’s Amazonas region. COOPARM currently works with 542 coffee farmers across 1,181 hectares of land, including 12 districts and 38 production bases.
Impact Study - Liberation
Established in 2005 as The Ethical Nut Company, Liberation is the first farmer-owned ethical nut business worldwide and remains the UK’s only Fairtrade nut enterprise co-owned by the farmers it serves.
Impact Study - Sacaclí
Founded in 1994 in Jinotega, northern Nicaragua, Sacaclí supports 500 members with access to market, agricultural inputs and stable incomes through coffee production.
