From 14 -17 February, Shared Interest will join in the largest international fair of organic food and agriculture in BioFach in Nuremberg, Germany.
Shared Interest Business Development Manager France Villeneuve, and Lending Manager for South America Jhonny Cabellos are planning to meet with businesses within the organic market at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre.
France said: “I have represented Shared Interest at BioFach several times and it is always an inspiring and energising experience. Organic is more than a label or a certification, it is a promise to be responsible with the world’s resources. "
Fair Trade Principles
Shared Interest finances organisations that follow Fair Trade Principles and some of these businesses are certified Fairtrade. Organic is a completely separate certification but the two often sit hand in hand. The Fairtrade Foundation supports farmers to go organic to increase the value of their products and protect their local environment.
France continued: “We usually meet many of our existing customers at BioFach and it is always a pleasure to see people face-to-face. The trade fair has become increasingly popular with international exporters as a gateway into European markets, to build relationships with buyers etc.
“It will be fantastic to return to the fair in-person after a two-year gap due to the pandemic. I am looking forward to making new connections, listening to talks that enable a deeper exploration into supply chains and hearing about the challenges and opportunities for the sector in the year ahead."
